How to use the visualizations
1 · ChooseOpen a module from Explore Modules and select a method.
2 · ConfigureFor interactive modules, edit the input values or choose a preset. Guided modules use a fixed example.
3 · Step throughRun the example, then use playback controls or the step slider to inspect each decision.
4 · CompareWhere available, compare policies using the same inputs and read the metrics with the visual trace.
Review status
Status describes the current experience, not a guarantee that every numerical result is production accurate. The 94 method explanations and UI/UX checklist cover the whole project; independent numerical validation of every advanced algorithm is still needed.
- Interactive simulation: CPU scheduling, page replacement, disk scheduling and memory allocation have editable inputs and step playback. Deadlock has an editable Banker’s safety check.
- Editable teaching models: multiprocessor scheduling, file allocation, paging and I/O flow now accept inputs and show computed steps. File allocation rejects overlaps and end-of-disk overflow; paging reports unmapped pages and bounds faults.
- Synchronization: twelve examples replay guided interleavings with explicit states. The semaphore lab accepts a custom action sequence and shows blocking, FIFO wakeups and permit transfers.
- Shared UI: method pickers now respond to Enter and Space, lessons appear in each module, and the home progress display reflects local lesson activity. Advanced models still need independent algorithm tests.

Next implementation focus: editable interleavings for the remaining synchronization methods, fuller state traces for advanced algorithms, and independent correctness tests for simplified policy models.
